limited editions

LIMITED EDITIONS ARE just that. While other photographs on our site are for sale on a continuous basis, a LIMITED EDITION image will only remain on sale for as long as there is "stock". A LIMITED EDITION will usually have a set limit of 100, 150, 200 or a maximum of 250. Once the last one is sold, that is it. Also, any image included as a LIMITED EDITION will neither have been sold previously, or in future. Our LIMITED EDITIONS may be an individual image, or perhaps a collage of images. It is that individual image, or collage, that has not, and will not be sold in any other format, size or style. It may be that the individual images contained in a collage are for sale, but that is in order to compliment the collage. An individual image will not ever be sold in any other size or medium, although it is possible, for instance, that the subject depicted may also be part of another image, perhaps from a different viewpoint or angle. Again, though, this other image would be complimentary to the LIMITED EDITION image.

We are currently offering 2 LIMITED EDITION prints. The first one is a collage of 18 images, taken in and around Jonker Walk, Melaka. Jonker Walk is probably the main tourist attraction in Melaka, offering a variety of antique shops and, on certain days and evenings of the week, the famous street market when Jonker Walk is closed to through traffic.

The second image is a replica Portuguese Sailing Ship from the 1500s and is now part of the Maritime Museum, beside the Melaka river. Visitors can purchase (very cheap) tickets and go on board to have a good look around.

Both images have a maximum print of 250. The Jonker Walk scene is available printed on Glossy paper and with dimensions of 18"x12". The replica of the Portuguese Sailing Ship is offered on a 20"x30" stretched canvas, on a wooden frame. Every photograph comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity and confirming the total of 250 prints for each.
